Weather reports.

The children had a go at recording their own weather forecast. After researching the Beast from the a East they made a weather map. They then used the map to record a forecast for the UK.

The children were given their sponsorship prizes today after our visit by our sport hero. The children had great fun doing the exercises and listening to his story in a special assembly.  Well done to everyone who took part in the exercise session and to those who raised some money.  Well done foxes!

On Friday the children spent the day being scientist. The children became scientific researchers and found out all about the different layers of the ocean. They worked in pairs to research their specific layer and created a poster to explain there findings. Then in the afternoon they conducted an experiment and recorded their findings. They had to release a man who had got trapped in the ice. The children had to work as a team to find out the best way to recuse the man from the ice. Everybody managed to recuse their man using a range of methods including smashing the ice, heat from their hands and using the warmth of the sun. A fun day was had by all.
